Uni Klinger Piston Valve - Features


Uni-Klinger Piston Valve, is a KLINGER IDEA, is basically Seat less and Glandless valve and by virtue of its design can replace both, the conventional type of Gate and Globe valves. Maximum operating pressure- 138.9 barg/2014.57 psig & 426.5°C/800°F

The Klinger Piston valve works on the principle of Resilient rings- KXGT in conjunction with a Metallic Stainless Steel Piston that moves vertically between the rings, giving a Seal that is both effective as well as Durable. This sealing system gives a bubble tight shut off, equivalent if not superior to Class VI leak standards.

  • Leak-proof isolation across the ports and to the atmosphere Equivalent to Class VI leak standard.
  • Sizes 15mm to 40mm in Forged Carbon steel & Stainless Steels &50 to 200mm in Cast Carbon Steel / Stainless Steels.
  • End Connection in socket weld, screwed or flanged End connections
  • Economic, easy to service in- Line, Maintenance free.
  • No erosion of sealing surface
  • Compensation of thermal Expansion with use of Belleville washer.
  • Regulating Piston/Lantern Bush; for coarse regulating/Throttling operation.
  • Extended Spindle: For Cryogenic application/Hot media to prevent heat transfer to H/W and aid handling of valve.
  • Pneumatic, Hydraulic or Electrical Actuator: For remote operating of the Valves.
