Non-Asbestos gasket sheets are Compressed Non Asbestos Fibre (CNAF) produced from Aramid Fibre, Mineral Fibre, high quality NBR

CNAF materials has been replaced the Compresse Fibre (CAF) jointing sheet, even CAF has having good heat resistant properties, but found harmful to humans, hence the CAF has been replaced by CNAF.

CNAF materials are commonly comprised of aramid fibre/Carbon Fibre/Glass Fibre/Graphite Fibre blended with elastomers NBR or SBR.to meet the different application such as Steam/Water/Oil/Acid/Gas/etc……

ANTI STICK : UKL GASKET NEVER STICK TO FLANGES IT WILL PROVIDE THE EASE OF OPERATION

ANTI CORROSIION : UKL GASKET HAVING THE CHLORIDE CONTENT LESS THAN 100 PPM, SO IT NEVER CORRODE THE FLANGES

ANTI LEAK: AS PER THE DIN STANDARD ALLOWABLE LEAKAGE FOR THE GASKET IS 3 ML/MIN, WHEREAS UKL GASKET ARE DESIGNED FOR 0.25 ML/MIN.  SO THERE WILL BE ZERO LEAK

General Properties of Non-Asbestos Materials

Non-asbestos materials generally have very good heat resistant properties. They are also good for use in applications that put them into contact with water, petrol or natural gas.

As such, non-asbestos materials are used in air compressors, diesel engines, pipelines and many other general industrial and marine environments.

UKL provide the CNAF gaskets that generally exhibits good resistance to acids, most oils and most fuels.

UKL also provide the CNAF sheet with Metallic Insertion for pulsating & higher temperature application & UKL will provide the Graphite/E-PTFE Sheets also.

UKL is manufactured in numerous grades to meet the British standards BS 57531 grade X and Y.
