Sheet Gasket

Gasket sheet material provides the ability to create custom gaskets.

UKL OFFERS  Non asbestos Sheet gaskets. They are simple, they are cut to size either with bolt holes or without holes for standard &Non-standard sizes with various thickness and with different material suitable to various media.

SOFT GASKET

Soft Gasket used when gasket that is easily compressed under a low bolt load. UKL offers customized  Non asbestos Sheet gaskets.
Considering process conditions we also suggest suitable UKL Grade.

  • Semi Metallic Gaskets:
  • Spiral-wound gaskets

spiral wound gaskets is categorized as semi-metallic gasket that is typically used for high pressure applications. The sealing element is formed by winding two materials (one for sealing, one for resilience) into thin v-shaped spirals. Comprising of a spirally wound v-shaped stainless steel strip and a non-metallic filler material, such as graphite or PTFE.

KAMMPROFILE GASKET

The Kammprofile gasket consists of a solid metal core, serrated on both sides and covered with a soft, conforming, sealing material (filler) that is bonded to each face. This soft facing produces a gasket with low seating stress.

RTJ GASKET

Ring Type Joint gaskets are precision machined metallic gaskets generally used in high pressure applications such as the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical and Offshore industries. This type of gasket is designed to be used in RTJ groove flanges and are produced under license to dimensions as per API-6A and ASME B16.20.

  • Ring Type Joints concentrate the bolt load over a small area producing high sealing stresses.
  • As the Ring Type Joint Material should always be softer than the mating flanges, the high seating stress causes ”plastic flow” of the ring joint in the flange faces creating the seal.
  • RTJ Gaskets can be produced from a variety of material’s to suit the process application and flange grade
